AAU invited Indian citizen for filling up of a few positions under the “Agro-Economic Research Centre for NE India”, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India located at the Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat.

AAU Announced a Recruitment Notice for 03 Posts. Here are all the details.

• Name of the Post: Research Fellow (RF)
• No. of Post: 1 (One) on a contractual basis.

Essential Qualification: 

• Minimum second class Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics /Statistics from any recognized University and working knowledge of computer application.

Experience:

• Performance of the candidates will be judged on the basis of their academic career, experience in the line and overall personality.

Consolidated pay of Rs.16,000/- +HRA+MA as admissible per month.

Age: - Maximum age limit: 44 years as on 01-01.2018.

• Name of the Post: PA to Director
• No. of Post: 1 (One)

Essential Qualification:

• Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University with good command over  English and knowledge of Computer Application.
• Diploma in Stenography with a speed of 120 W. P. M in Shorthand and 40 W. P. M in Type Writing.

Pay Scale  : Rs.8,000-35,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4,900/- -PM (pre-revised)

Age: - Maximum age limit: 44 years as on 01-01.2018

• Name of the Post: Typist
• No. of Post: 1 (One)

Essential Qualification:

• Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University with high proficiency in Computer Typing application with a minimum speed of 40 w. p. m.

Pay scale: Rs. Rs.5,200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2,500/- -PM (pre-revised)

Age: - Maximum age limit: 44 years as on 01-01.2018

General Instruction For AAU Recruitment:

• The required qualification will not make a candidate eligible for the post.
• No TA/DA will be borne by the Centre for appearing in the test/interview if called for.
• DD/IPO amounting Rs.300/- in case of general category and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/PH category must accompany the application form in favour of Director, AERC, AAU, Jorhat.
